White Recruitment Limited is hiring an Ocean Import Specialist in Manchester to join a growing freight forwarder. You will manage ocean import shipments end-to-end, with ownership and progression opportunities.

The role covers FCL/LCL, bookings, documentation, customs, liaison, tracking, costing and invoicing; strong customer focus and CargoWise experience preferred. The position offers a collaborative team and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven Ocean Import / freight forwarding experience.
• FCL and LCL knowledge desirable.
• Customs/CDS experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a busy environment.
• CargoWise experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean import shipments from start to finish, including all steps.

The Role

You’ll manage ocean import shipments from start to finish, including:

• FCL & LCL shipments
• Booking with shipping lines and overseas agents
• Shipping documentation and customs/CDS
