Job summary

Tall Grass Recruitment has a brand new Ocean Import Operator role based in South Manchester. You will join a growing team of 10 in a Global Freight Forwarder with 9 UK offices, reporting into the Ops Manager. Hybrid working after probation (3 days in the office, 2 days at home).

The role requires handling consolidation documents, air & ocean bookings, and strong experience with CargoWise, CDS and customs entries. 2+ years in freight forwarding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Consolidation of documents of operations and transportation (booking, BL, pre-advices, loading confirmation).
• 2+ years experience in freight forwarding.
• Must have CargoWise / End-to-End / CDS & Customs Entries experience.
• Manage air & ocean freight import and export bookings according to booking log sheet and coordination with Customer Services team.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate documents of operations and transportation (booking, BL, pre-advices, loading confirmation).
• Coordinate air and ocean freight import/export bookings with the Customer Services team.
• Ensure CDS & customs entries are correctly processed and compliant.
