Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Ocean Imports within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong understanding of ocean import processes and documentation.
• Experience handling shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and import compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy operational environment.

• Liaising with overseas agents, carriers, hauliers, and customers.

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected global freight forwarder that forms part of one of the world's largest integrated logistics and supply chain groups. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Ocean Import Operator to join their team in Sale, Manchester.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing ocean import shipments from origin through to final delivery, ensuring a first-class service is provided to customers while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing FCL and LCL ocean import shipments from start to finish
