Job summary

Nippon Express Europe GmbH in the UK is seeking a detail‑driven Ocean Export Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end export processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional customer care across international shipments.

You will handle documentation through GS‑NET and CargoWise, book space with carriers, provide timely updates to customers, and collaborate with internal teams to uphold service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or a logistics degree.
• Strong professional English for communication with customers, carriers, customs and internal teams.
• Familiarity with CargoWise and MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ocean export coordination from instruction to file closure.
• Prepare and review export documentation (SLI, BLs, Delivery Orders, Certificates of Origin, Insurance Certificates, Export Declarations, etc.).
• Book cargo space and coordinate vessel schedules with carriers.
• Provide proactive updates to customers and resolve shipment queries.
• Calculate freight and insurance charges and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain records and support KPIs.
