Job summary

Priory Hospital Kneesworth House in Royston, Hertfordshire, is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team on a fixed-term basis until August 2027. The role focuses on developing personalised treatment plans and delivering both individual and group therapy within a level 2 rehabilitation service.

HCPC registration and a Diploma in Occupational Therapy (or a relevant degree) are essential.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered to practice as an occupational therapist.
• Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours, postgraduate cert/diploma, or Master's pre-registration).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver personalised occupational therapy treatment plans to support patient recovery and wellbeing.
• Assess patient needs, deliver individual and group therapy, and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Support, supervise and mentor junior members of the occupational therapy team.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
• Promote occupational therapy services and contribute to the development of the local service.
• Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers, ensuring effective communication throughout rehabilitation.
