Job summary

Priory Hospital East Midlands is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for our Acute and PICU ward. The role requires HCPC registration and a Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy with BAOT membership, with at least 3 years’ experience including 1 year in addictions, neuro-rehab or eating disorders.

The post is part time (30 hours) in Priory East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, offering a supportive environment with development opportunities within Priory Group.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered
• Diploma in Occupational Therapy or BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy with BAOT membership
• At least 3 years’ experience including at least 1 year in addictions, neuro-rehab, or eating disorders.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered effectively.
• Receives and responds promptly to referrals, conducts patient assessments to identify and prioritise needs, and plans and delivers appropriate interventions (individual or group) with accurate progress notes.
• Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
