West Berkshire Council is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care Service, reporting to the Team Leader. You will conduct high-quality assessments and deliver interventions to support independence and daily living for service users.

Formación

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience in adult social care, ideally local authority.
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
• Excellent assessment and intervention skills; able to manage a diverse caseload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of occupational needs.
• Provide advice and support to service users, families and carers.
• Collaborate with professionals and agencies for coordinated care.
• Deliver rehabilitation, adaptation and assistive technology interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as required.
