Job summary

Suffolk County Council's Adult Social Care invites an Occupational Therapist to join the Flexible Care and Support Team in West Suffolk. You will conduct high-quality assessments of adults' physical, psychological and environmental needs, and promote independence, wellbeing and choice through creative solutions.

The role offers flexible and hybrid working, 37 hours per week, with a fixed-term or secondment 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required to practise as an Occupational Therapist.
• Qualified OT with evidence of current registration and professional development.
• Ability to work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality assessments of adults' physical, psychological and environmental needs.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and choice through creative solutions.
• Support waiting list reduction and contribute to supervision of junior staff where appropriate.
• Collaborate with Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and external care providers.
