Job summary

Priory Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Llanarth Court in Abergavenny. The role delivers OT assessments and interventions across forensic wards, with focus on mental wellbeing and functional skills.

HCPC registration and a Diploma in Occupational Therapy are essential; experience with mental health or challenging behaviours is preferred. The hospital is a specialist psychiatric setting with excellent on-site facilities and support for professional development.

Part-time – 37.5 hours per week
Llanarth Court has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Llanarth Court is a specialist medium secure, low secure, and open rehabilitation psychiatric hospital. Located in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Llanarth Court offers convenient transport links and easy access to the A40 and A459. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you'll be doing

Join our established therapy team at Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, delivering creative interventions to support patients’ occupational skills and mental wellbeing. You’ll work across our forensic wards, therapy areas and community, with access to a range of excellent on-site facilities.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential for the role Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, or Master’s pre-registration qualification in Occupational Therapy) or due to qualify and register soon. Experience working with people with mental health needs or challenging behaviours.
