Job summary

Health Partners is seeking an Occupational Health Physician to deliver expert medical guidance for employee health, safety, and wellbeing. You will advise on disability, support ill-health retirement, and ensure accurate record-keeping using internal systems.

You will work with insurers and pension trustees, provide case reviews, and may act as a professional witness in tribunals. Hybrid Southampton role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• DipOccMed qualification is required.
• GMC registration and UK licence to practise required.
• Demonstrable private sector OH experience of 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical advice to clients on employee health and wellbeing.
• Assist with pre-employment assessments and sickness absence management.
• Support ill-health retirement processes and workplace health surveillance.

Education

DipOccMed qualification

GMC registration

Experience in private sector OH (2+ years)

HAVs testing

IRR/Asbestos qualified
