Health Partners are seeking an Occupational Health Physician to deliver expert medical advice and support to clients, helping them manage employee health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.

From pre-employment assessments and sickness absence management to ill-health retirement and workplace health surveillance, you will provide clear, practical guidance that enables businesses to meet their occupational health responsibilities effectively.

Qualifikationen

• DipOccMed qualification as a minimum requirement.
• Current GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK.
• Demonstrable private sector experience in a similar role for at least 2 years.
• Good understanding of employment law.
• Eligible to undertake HAVs testing (IRR/Asbestos desirable).
• Rail work qualification desired.
• Hands-on knowledge of health surveillance and screening.
• Outlook and Word essential; Excel/PowerPoint desirable.

Aufgaben

• Act as an Occupational Health Physician for private and public sector organisations nationwide.
• Provide clinical advice on disability for insurance claims and pension purposes.
• Join client premises for on-site clinic services when required.
• Utilise internal medical records and diary systems to maintain records.
• Deliver health surveillance services and reviews at physician level.
• Advise and support Pension Trustees on ill-health retirement cases.
• Act as a professional witness in employment tribunals when required.
• Liaise with Administrators and Team Leaders on client and patient queries.
• Attend a Preston clinic site monthly as needed.
