Job summary

WM Trains Limited is seeking an organised Occupational Health Coordinator Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of our Occupational Health service at Head Office in Birmingham.

You will work with the OH team and third-party providers to meet safety, attendance and wellbeing objectives, acting as contact for managers and supporting data reporting while completing a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade 5 or above.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• High level IT competency with Office 365 (Excel, SharePoint).
• Professional written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel across the network.
• Enrolment in Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Be the key contact between managers and OH team, handling OH service delivery inquiries.
• Resolve or escalate OH queries in a timely manner and signpost to HR functions.
• Support day-to-day operation of OH service and contracts, ensuring timely medicals and compliance.
• Support 3rd party provider in drug and alcohol testing to meet RSSB standards.
• Disseminate activity and performance information to enable informed decision making.
• Ensure health data is recorded accurately and comply with GDPR.
