Job summary

ExamWorks UK is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to deliver a high-quality, end-to-end OH service to clients across the UK. This permanent role is based in the Northamptonshire area (Daventry) and offers 40 hours per week within a supportive OH team.

You will hold current NMC registration, have at least 2 years’ OH experience, manage complex casework, write clear reports, and use digital OH systems.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Occupational Health.
• Experience managing complex OH casework.
• Strong report writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise and well reasoned advice.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital OH systems.
• Up to date knowledge of OH legislation, best practice and professional standards.
• Ideally, a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health (Diploma or Degree).

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload, including sickness absence, fitness for work and rehabilitation cases.
• Undertaking pre-placement and pre-employment health assessments.
• Providing clear, practical Occupational Health advice to HR and line managers.
• Supporting employees with work-related health concerns in a professional and compassionate way.
• Working closely with other OH services, including Technicians, OHPs, counselling and physiotherapy providers.
