Job summary

Arcus Search, in partnership with a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an Observability Platform Engineer to design and operate cloud-native observability platforms using OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes. This role will influence tooling roadmap and ensure seamless AWS integrations.

The successful candidate will have expert OpenTelemetry knowledge, hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana), strong Kubernetes and Python skills, and AWS cloud

Arcus Search are partnering with a highly successful organisation operating within the financial sphere, who are looking to hire an Observability Platform Engineer to manage & run OpenTelemetry at scale.

Role

Observability Platform Engineer

Salary

up to £200,000 + a strong annual bonus

Location

London - 3 days a week in the office

The role

You'll be responsible for designing and operating cloud-native observability platforms using OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes, contributing to the roadmap for observability tooling, and working with AWS services to ensure seamless integration with the observability platform.

Key Requirements

• Expert in OpenTelemetry
• Experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, or equivalent
• Cloud experience, ideally AWS
• Proficiency in Kubernetes
• A good level of coding experience within Python
