Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Observability Architect to define and drive the observability strategy across a multi-technology estate, with a focus on Splunk architecture, SRE-informed design, and AIOps-driven insights.

The role requires expert-level Splunk knowledge and the ability to translate complex telemetry into governance, roadmaps and implementation-ready designs. Hybrid working with offices, client sites, and home-based days is offered.

Qualifications

• Leadership in defining observability strategies for complex enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of telemetry, SLOs/SLIs, topology and event management, AIOps and operational analytics.
• Experience owning end-to-end Splunk architecture across on-prem, cloud or hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise Observability and AIOps strategy, architecture principles, target architecture and roadmap.
• Lead the end-to-end Splunk platform architecture, including scalability, resilience, security, performance, and lifecycle management.
• Own architecture governance for the observability domain, including HLDs, reference architectures, standards, design decisions, and assurance.
• Provide executive-level advisory and communication to stakeholders during delivery.
