Job summary

H is seeking a hands-on lead for observability to own the strategy, design, and rollout across all technical systems. You will define the stack, lead others, and collaborate with infra, product, engineering and research teams to surface actionable metrics and dashboards.

You will ensure teams measure what matters, learn our products deeply, and drive adoption of a unified observability approach across deployments, with a strong focus on reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Led substantial engineering work and drove adoption of observability
• Built production instrumentation and telemetry integrations
• Defined product-level and technical SLAs, SLOs and SLIs

Responsibilities

• Set a unified observability strategy across teams and stacks
• Own implementation of metrics, logs, traces, alerts and dashboards
• Define SLAs, SLOs, SLIs with product, research and infra teams
• Provide end-to-end visibility of system dependencies with visualisations
• Automate coverage, reliability, alert quality and execution cost
