Stewton House is seeking a Cook to provide nutritional meals for residents with diverse dietary needs. You will work with the home team to plan, prepare and serve meals, ensuring high hygiene standards and cost control.

The role involves coordinating with the home manager and staff, managing stock and complying with COSHH/EHO guidelines. A 40-hour week with weekend work is typical, with opportunity for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking nutritious meals.

• Knowledge of COSHH and EHO hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and cost menus to provide balanced, nutritious diets.
• Prepare, cook and serve a variety of meals according to menus and dietary needs.
• Maintain accurate records of food supplies and temperatures per safety rules.
• Supervise kitchen assistants and support staff, including rota planning.
