Job summary

Parklands Care Homes in Huntly is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare wholesome meals for our residents in a fast-paced care home environment. You will tailor meals to dietary needs, maintain hygiene standards, and work as part of a friendly kitchen team.

This full-time role covers 30 hours per week with a rota including weekends, paying £16 per hour. Applicants should have food safety certification preferred; previous experience in similar roles is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of elderly dietary needs is preferred.
• Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wholesome meals that meet residents' dietary needs and safety requirements.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals with dietary customization.
• Maintain portion control and hygiene standards; manage kitchen stock and equipment.
