Job summary

Lyminster Primary School in Littlehampton is seeking an outstanding teaching assistant to support children with complex SEND and deliver a nurturing, flexible curriculum under the direction of a teacher. The role involves 1:1, small group and whole-class support across the school.

This permanent post is 32.5 hours per week, term-time only, with either morning 8:30–12:15 and 12:45–3:30, or 8:30–12:45 and 1:15–3:30, located in Littlehampton.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children with complex SEND and delivering a nurture-based curriculum under a teacher.
• 1:1, small group and whole class support across the school.
• Committed to a positive and inclusive classroom ethos.
• Excellent record of pupil support.
• Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and children.

Responsibilities

• Support across the school with 1:1, small groups and whole class teaching under the direction of a teacher.
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in developing provision and supporting pupil progress.
