Job summary

Master Class Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Littlehampton. This is a morning-only, part-time role designed to fit around school hours.

You will assist the class teacher to support pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing, delivering one-to-one or small-group support and helping children engage and build confidence.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic traits are required.
• Experience in schools or childcare is beneficial though transferable experience is welcome.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Part-Time Morning Role Mainstream Primary School Littlehampton

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Littlehampton on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for a morning-only role within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As an LSA, you will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. You may provide one-to-one or small-group support, helping children to engage with their learning and build confidence and independence.

The role will include:

• Supporting pupils with classroom activities and learning
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Helping children develop confidence and positive learning behaviours
• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Promoting an inclusive, safe and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic about working with children. Previous experience in a school, nursery, childcare or support setting would be beneficial, although we would also consider candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude.

Hours: Part-time, 08:15-12:30, Monday-Friday, Term-time only
Contract: Term-time
Start Date: ASAP / September
Salary: 14.25ph
