Job summary

Marston Green Infant Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support SEND pupils, including small group work and lunchtime support. The role requires nurturing, responsive support and a commitment to raising standards within a caring team.

Hours are 16.25 per week (Mon-Fri, 12:15–3:30), term-time only, with a fixed-term contract ending 31 August 2027. Interviews scheduled for 25 September 2026.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential, together with English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:15 pm to 3.30 pm (16.25 hours), term time only.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND pupils, including small group work and targeted intervention.
• Provide lunchtime and additional quiet support as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of children with complex needs and respond to individual needs.
