Job summary

Reeson Education is recruiting a SEND Teacher for a welcoming Acton school in West London. The role involves teaching a small class of six pupils with complex needs within a nurturing provision.

You will plan, deliver and assess learning with two Teaching Assistants, tailoring support with the wider school and external professionals to meet individual needs. The role is full-time and permanent.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience with pupils with SEND is advantageous.
• Patient, resilient and emotionally intelligent.
• Able to work well with Teaching Assistants and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for six pupils.
• Create a calm, nurturing classroom environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and adapt strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with two Teaching Assistants and the SENCO.
• Engage with parents, carers and external specialists.
• Contribute to individual support plans and SEND provision.
