Job summary

Qteg is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher for an ASAP start at a specialist SEN School in Enfield. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEN, including those with ASD/ADHD or complex needs, following EHCP targets and working closely with teaching assistants to maintain a supportive class.

The role is permanent with a nurturing approach to behaviour management, suitable for teachers looking to move into SEN or those with mainstream experience seeking a dedicated SEN

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• Experience with ASD/ADHD or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to pupils with SEN.
• Adapt teaching to individual abilities and EHCP targets.
• Support academic, social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants to maintain a structured classroom.
