Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead an established service in a picturesque setting, delivering high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults. You will assume ownership of day-to-day performance with a focus on stability, governance and resident wellbeing.

The role requires either RGN/RMN qualifications with active NMC registration or an exceptional non-nurse candidate with a Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification and

Qualifications

• Proven Nursing Home Manager experience is essential.
• Active NMC registration preferred for RGN/RMN candidates.
• Exceptional non-nurse managers with Level 5 qualification and strong nursing home track record will be considered.
• Experience leading a home through CQC inspections and regulatory reviews.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the nursing home's clinical, operational and financial performance.
• Provide strong, consistent leadership across nursing, care and support teams.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC and wider regulatory requirements.
• Lead preparation for CQC inspections and address regulatory feedback effectively.
• Maintain robust clinical governance, audits, safeguarding and risk management processes.
• Monitor quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Oversee recruitment, staffing, retention and team performance; develop managers and senior staff.
• Manage budgets and resources; focus on occupancy and sustainable service performance.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals; ensure safe, compassionate care.
