Job summary

Willing Care Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting a nurse-qualified Registered Manager to lead a Good CQC-rated specialist nursing and dementia service. You will oversee care planning, governance, and regulatory compliance while developing a motivated team.

You will manage budgets and occupancy, build strong relationships with residents and families, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Nurse-qualified Registered Manager with strong leadership experience.
• Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification preferred.
• Proven track record in leading care homes, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and clinical governance.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and medication management.
• Recruit, develop and retain a skilled and motivated team.
• Coach senior staff to strengthen leadership across the home.

Job description

• Support the team to understand and respond appropriately to behaviours that challenge, ensuring care remains compassionate, consistent and individualised.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and clinical governance.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, medication management and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, develop and retain a skilled and motivated team.
• Coach and support senior staff to strengthen leadership throughout the home.
• Monitor quality and performance, implementing improvement plans where required.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Manage budgets, staffing levels and resources effectively.
• Support occupancy and the overall commercial performance of the service.
  Ideally, you will be a nurse-qualified Registered Manager, although applications are also welcomed from experienced Registered Managers who hold a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care. You will need proven experience as a registered care home manager, along with a strong background in supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. You should be confident leading and developing a team while maintaining high standards of care, compliance and person‑centred practice.
  Up to £70,000 per year + Bonus Scheme, Up to £70,000 per year
