Job summary

JCO Healthcare is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a large, well-established nursing home in the Bath/Frome area. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive high-quality care and ensure a positive environment for residents, families and staff.

You will work closely with the owner and senior leadership, uphold strong CQC compliance and governance, support occupancy and recruitment, and develop the care and management teams to deliver person-centred care at every level.

Qualifications

• Experience as Home Manager in nursing or elderly care.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Good understanding of CQC compliance and governance.
• People-centered leadership with commercial awareness.
• Nurse-qualified and non-nurse candidates considered depending on experience.

JCO Healthcare is delighted to be working with an established, independently owned care provider to appoint an experienced Home Manager for a large, well-established nursing home in Somerset.

This is an excellent opportunity to take leadership of an amazing nursing home with a Good CQC rating, working closely with the owner and senior leadership team.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the home, ensuring consistently high standards of care while creating a positive environment for residents, families and colleagues.

• Providing strong, visible leadership across the home


• Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and governance


• Leading, developing and supporting the home's management and care teams


• Ensuring the home remains fully compliant with CQC requirements
