Job summary

Crooton ltd in Essex is seeking a Nursing Community Manager (RGN) to lead nurses and carers in a care home. Based in Waltham Abbey, you will ensure safe, person-centred care, and oversee day-to-day clinical operations on a 36-hour, day-shift contract at £23.25 per hour.

You will work with senior management to maintain high standards, manage care planning, medication governance, and regulatory compliance, while mentoring staff to deliver compassionate, quality outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration with current revalidation.
• 3+ years as an RGN in clinical or social care with leadership experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and regulatory compliance understanding.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

About the Role

Combine clinical expertise with team leadership to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Working alongside the senior management and multidisciplinary teams, you will lead nurses and carers to champion dignity, independence, and resident wellbeing.

About You

• Credentials: Active NMC registration and up-to-date revalidation.
  
• Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse (RGN) in a clinical or social care setting, with proven leadership experience.
  
• Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, excellent decision-making abilities, and a deep understanding of regulatory standards.
  
• Attributes: A confident, compassionate leader with exceptional communication skills and a passion for mentoring others.
  
• Flexibility: Some weekend and evening work will be required
