South Leicestershire Medical Group is seeking an experienced nursing associate to join our multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality primary care to our local community. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs, HCAs and pharmacists to support patient care and health promotion.

Qualifications

• Experience in a patient-facing healthcare role.
• Experience delivering direct patient care within multidisciplinary team.
• Competence in undertaking clinical observations and basic procedures.
• Experience maintaining accurate patient records and using electronic systems.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, infection prevention and control, and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• The nursing associate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients within the practice.
• Work within their scope of practice and under the guidance of registered nurses and GPs; support assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
• Undertake phlebotomy, wound care, vaccinations and immunisations (where trained), health checks and monitoring of long-term conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and ensure care is documented per practice policies and quality standards.
