Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant in the East Midlands for a full-time, long-term placement from ASAP until May. Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, you will support children through daily routines and deliver engaging EYFS activities within a busy nursery team. Pay £14.25–£15.25 per hour via PAYE, with progression and CPD opportunities.

Required: Level 3 in Early Years / Childcare, nursery experience, EYFS knowledge, safeguarding awareness, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until May, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5:30pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines, deliver engaging EYFS activities and work closely with the wider nursery team to support children's learning and development.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare


• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting


• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS


• A good understanding of safeguarding and children's welfare


• A caring and enthusiastic approach


• Strong communication and teamwork skills
