Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant for a full-time, long-term role in a Hucknall nursery. You will support children through daily routines, deliver EYFS activities and collaborate with the team to foster development.

Ideal candidates hold Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare, have nursery experience and strong safeguarding knowledge, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery setting in the Hucknall area that is looking to welcome an experienced Nursery Assistant to their team. The setting is focused on providing children with a safe, positive and engaging environment where they can learn, play and develop.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until May, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5:30pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines, deliver engaging EYFS activities and work closely with the wider nursery team to support children's learning and development.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A good understanding of safeguarding and children's welfare
• A caring and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
