Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nursery Teacher for a private nursery in West London. The role is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers, with potential for extension or permanent placement depending on performance.

The contract starts 07/09/2026 and runs until the end of the academic year (July 2027). It is a temporary, full-time position with term-time hours 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year Nursery teaching experience in the UK.
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Nursery Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Nursery Teacher for a private nursery in West London.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

• Location - West London
• Position - Nursery Teacher

• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £206.75 - £268.20 per day
• Hours - 8:00 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year Nursery teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
