Prospero Teaching is seeking a Nursery Manager for a full-time position in Woodford (IG8). The role involves overseeing and managing the daily running of the nursery, with term-time hours from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Contract start is ASAP 2026, lasting two terms until July 27, with end date July 2027. Candidate requirements include QTS or equivalent, at least 1 year KS2 UK teaching experience, and safeguarding training within the last year.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent - teaching qualification required.
• At least 1 year KS2 teaching experience in the UK.
• Safeguarding training updated within the last year.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily nursery operations and ensure smooth running of the setting.
• Support teaching staff and coordinate classroom activities.
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare and safety protocols are followed.

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
