Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Nursery Assistant in London for a long-term, PAYE role supporting SEN learners and assisting the classroom teacher across 1:1 and small group settings.

You will help promote positive behaviour, observe pupils, and report to staff. DBS checks and Right to Work in the UK are required, with enhanced DBS preferred or applied for.

Qualifications

• All applicants must have relevant training and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Right to Work in the UK is required; enhanced DBS preferred or applicant for one.
• DBS/ safeguarding checks are standard for role in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher in managing students.
• Work in classrooms, small groups and 1:1 with pupils.
• Promote positive behaviour and be a role model for students.
• Observe students and report findings to other staff members.

• PAYE, NO umbrella companies
• Gain valuable experience and support students through their academic journey
• Monday to Friday, 9- 4 (+ breaks)

The role:

• Support the classroom teacher in management of the students
• Work in classrooms, small groups and 1:1
• Promote positive behaviour and be a role model
• Observe the students and report back to other staff members

PLEASE NOTE: All successful applicants will require the right training, legal checks and the Right to Work in the UK. You must also either have an enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
