Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a caring Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the LS4 area of Leeds. You will work with children aged 3-4 in the nursery, supporting play-based learning and EYFS activities while encouraging communication, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

  • Previous EYFS experience is essential.
  • Experience in a school nursery, private nursery, preschool or similar Early Years setting.

Responsibilities

Nursery Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Location: LS4, Leeds

Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the LS4 area.

Working within the school nursery, you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role:
  • Supporting children aged 3-4 years within the school nursery
  • Assisting with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Encouraging children's communication, social and emotional development
  • Supporting the class teacher and wider Early Years team throughout the school day
  • Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements:
