Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a friendly Early Years team at a primary school nursery in BS11. You’ll support children aged 2 and 3, helping to create a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration and real-life experiences.

All applicants require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role, and Protocol Education provides safeguarding training and DBS checks.

Qualifications

We're looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to work within a friendly and experienced Early Years team at a primary school nursery in BS11.

You’ll support children aged 2 and 3, helping to create a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration and real-life experiences. The setting follows a primarily child-initiated approach to Early Years learning and places importance on recognising every child as an individual.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Caring, energetic and patient
• Confident working with young children
• Passionate about Early Years development
• Comfortable supporting learning through play
• Reliable and able to work as part of a busy nursery team
• Experienced in Nursery, EYFS, childcare or a similar setting

Location is important: candidates who live locally to BS11 or who drive and can reliably travel to the area will be best suited to this opportunity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
