Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Lancing is seeking an experienced Room Leader Third In Charge to support daily nursery operations. The role is a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £36,340 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification, have at least 2 years of room leadership experience, and be committed to safeguarding and Ofsted readiness within a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting.
• Knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices.
• Ability to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences.
• Familiarity with Ofsted requirements and monitoring.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nursery room and support the management team in daily operations.
