Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Lancing is seeking an experienced Room Leader Third In Charge to support daily nursery operations. The role is a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £36,340 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification, have at least 2 years of room leadership experience, and be committed to safeguarding and Ofsted readiness within a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting.

Essential for the Nursery Room Leader / Third in Charge Role

Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)

Minimum 2 years’s experience leading a room in a nursery or earlyyears setting

Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding

Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your roomand the wider nursery setting

Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements

Build positive relationships with children, families, andcolleagues in the nursery setting
