Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited in Horley is seeking a very experienced Room Leader to join a busy nursery and lead a room, working a 40 hour week with a salary around £30,500 depending on experience.

You will hold a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification and proven room-leading experience, with EYFS knowledge, safeguarding, Ofsted compliance and strong teamwork to support families and children.

Qualifications

Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
Minimum 1 year’s experience leading a room in a nursery or earlyyears setting.
Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding.
Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
Build positive relationships with children, families, andcolleagues in the nursery setting.

Responsibilities

Lead a nursery room and support staff to deliver high-quality care and learning.
Maintain Ofsted compliance and safeguarding standards.
Foster strong relationships with families and colleagues within the nursery.
Promote best practices and maintain a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery.
