Job summary

My Ohana is seeking a Room Leader at our Islington nursery on City Road to lead a classroom and deliver the highest standards of care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, in line with EYFS.

You'll hold a full Level 3+ Early Years qualification, bring strong communication, be a team player, and contribute to a nurturing, growth‑driven environment. Benefits include competitive pay, pension, childcare discounts, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passion and dedication to providing world class care to children.
• To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above.
• Prior experience of looking after children from 3 months to 5 years.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of your own room, encouraging good practice and being a good role model.
• Provide the BEST experience for all children with safety and their wellbeing at the centre of focus.
• Promote positive working relationships with the parents and colleagues within your room.
• Support colleagues in ensuring planning, milestones and observations meet high standards.
• Drive a fun, action-packed day of activities, following the EYFS framework.
• Provide an enhanced and positive mealtime experience.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
