Job summary

The Learning Experience UK in Weybridge is seeking an experienced Room Leader to join our nursery team. You will plan and deliver activities that support children's development and maintain high standards of care in line with EYFS.

The role is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth, funded qualifications, and a supportive environment that values teamwork and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years settings, preferably as Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner.
• Solid understanding of EYFS safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities meeting children’s developmental needs.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment aligned with EYFS standards.
• Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children’s development.
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships.
• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning; ensure safeguarding policies are followed.

Nursery Room Leader at The Learning Experience UK

Salary: Up to £33,500 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Weybridge, Surrey

Your Role

As a Room Leader, you will:

• Plan and deliver activities that meet children’s developmental needs

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge ofEYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
