Job summary

The Learning Experience Uk in Weybridge is seeking an experienced Curriculum Practitioner to lead and evaluate the room's curriculum in line with EYFS principles. This full-time role offers a £2,500 welcome bonus and a salary up to £30,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

You will ensure a safe, nurturing environment, track milestones, and build strong relationships with families while supporting ongoing CPD and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience in an Early Years setting (Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner or similar) is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of the room's curriculum in line with EYFS principles.
• Ensure clear progression of learning and collaborate with the team.
• Provide a safe, nurturing environment in line with EYFS standards.
• Monitor and celebrate milestones in children's development.
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships.
• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed.

This role requires a Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.

Your Role

As a Curriculum Practitioner, you will:

• Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of the room’s curriculum in line with EYFS principles and the setting’s curriculum intent
• Ensure a clear progression of learning, building knowledge and confidence in the curriculum with the team.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards
• Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children’s development
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships
• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full & relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification – essential
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator)
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
• A commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
