Job summary

Busy Bees Ashton House, rated Good by Ofsted, is nestled in the beautiful grounds of Ashton Park and is housed in a charming converted manor. Eight light and airy classrooms provide quality learning experiences for all children, each with its own garden space for outdoor exploration.

As a Room Leader you will oversee multiple rooms and drive the Bee Curious curriculum across the centre. You will inspire your team to achieve high standards of care and learning, taking on Key Person

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Supervisory experience in a nursery setting is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Passionate about children's development and building relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, supporting holistic development and personal care needs.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
