Busy Bees in Biggleswade is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, drive our Bee Curious curriculum, and lead a dedicated team to deliver high standards of care and education.

You will ensure safe, engaging environments, manage staff performance, and support children's developmental progress in a collaborative setting with families. This is a rewarding leadership role within a Wellbeing-focused nursery network.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in early years or equivalent.
  • Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children's development and building positive relationships with families.

Join our dedicated and friendly team at Busy Bees in Biggleswade Kings Reach, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 109 children. We are passionate about nurturing children's love of learning through playful teaching, creating a fun and engaging environment. Role Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
  • Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Required Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
