Job summary

Busy Bees Ashford Eureka Park is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, ensuring that educational strategies are integrated across the centre. This leadership role will inspire your team to achieve high standards of care and learning.

The nursery is part of Busy Bees, a leading UK group with numerous nurseries and strong community involvement. You will contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum and support families in the local area.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification required (or higher) in early years education.
• Supervisory experience in an early years setting is desirable.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children, with progress communicated to parents.
• Take on Key Person responsibilities for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards and maintain a clean, secure environment.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Ashford Eureka Park, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 108 children and is a friendly nursery featuring six base rooms along with a dedicated sensory room. Each age group has its own garden, allowing children to enjoy daily free flow access to outdoor play. Conveniently located within a local leisure complex, we are close to the M20 and the town center, making our nursery easily accessible for families. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.

• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
