Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Room Leader at our Winchester Sutton Scotney nursery. You will oversee multiple rooms, lead curriculum integration, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of care and learning across the centre.

With Level 3 Early Years qualifications and supervisory experience, you will inspire your team to deliver the Bee Curious curriculum, support families, and maintain excellent health and safety standards. Competitive salary and benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience is advantageous.

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
