Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Room Leader to supervise multiple rooms and ensure cohesive educational strategies across the centre. This leadership role involves inspiring the team to achieve high standards of care and learning within Busy Bees Burchetts Green and its community.

The successful candidate will lead planning, monitor child development, and foster strong relationships with families while maintaining health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Burchetts Green, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 84 children and offers ample outdoor space for exploration and play. Our amazing team is dedicated and passionate about their roles as practitioners, ensuring a nurturing environment for all children. We enhance learning experiences with visits to the zoo on the BCA college grounds and work in partnership with the college to provide valuable placements for new practitioners. Conveniently located on the college campus, we also offer free parking for staff, making it easy for educators to access our welcoming facility.

Ideal Candidate
