Job summary

Busy Bees Enfield Montessori by Busy Bees is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and ensure seamless integration of educational strategies across the centre. This leadership role will inspire your team to achieve high standards of care and learning.

You will lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities, manage a high-performing team, and monitor children’s progress while maintaining health and safety. A Level 3 EYFS qualification and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education required.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children, with progress communicated to parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and environment is clean and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.

• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
