Job summary

Busy Bees Addlestone is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, shaping the delivery of our Bee Curious curriculum and ensuring high standards of care and learning. You will inspire your team, oversee planning, and support continuous improvement in teaching practices within a newly purpose-built centre.

The role focuses on leading staff, nurturing strong relationships with families, and maintaining safe, engaging spaces for children to thrive.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience supervising in an early years setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children, tracking progress and communicating with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, supporting holistic development and individual care needs.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and the environment is clean and secure.

Busy Bees Addlestone is a newly purpose‑built nursery with a capacity of 113 children, featuring large outdoor areas that encourage exploration and play. Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
