Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms at our Stevenage Great Ashby nursery. You will lead the team, implement the Bee Curious curriculum, and ensure high standards of care and learning across the centre.

The role requires strong leadership and communication, with experience in early years settings. You will support families, track child progress, and champion a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and building positive family relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering childrens development and creating positive relationships with families.
