Busy Bees Bicester is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, drive the Bee Curious curriculum, and lead a team to achieve high standards of care and learning. This leadership role emphasizes inspiring the team to deliver exceptional childcare and educational experiences within a supportive Centre environment.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education (or equivalent).
  • Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibility is preferred (e.g., Nursery Room Leader/Manager).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills to manage a team and engage families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee child development and wellbeing; track progress and communicate with parents.
  • Assume Key Person responsibilities to support holistic development and care needs.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met and the environment is clean and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Required Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
